Another Happy Industrial Repairs Customer

Our latest industrial drive maintenance (IDM) customer is a Houston area steel processor who recently had a 300HP Allen-Bradley VFD on his leveler machine go down for almost a week. It’ s part of his blanking line.

The customer had been using another field service company to service his equipment, but that group fried the VFD while troubleshooting. The customer said to IIDM, “Come on down, we need your help ASAP”.

We took the big drive to our repairs depot in NW Houston and were able to evaluate the drive the same day (within hours). The customer approved the repairs quote. The drive was repaired, tested, and ready for a weekend install by IIDM field service techs. Our field service guys arrived with the drive on the weekend and a couple of hours later, the customer’s line was up and running again.
