Victoria Day Brisket Cookoff

Why do we celebrate Victoria Day with a brisket cookoff? Nobody is really sure, but our third annual VDay event drew entries from employees and Dallas branch associates. Our friends from SMC Pneumatics and Yaskawa Drives were again in attendance. This is an outstanding event sponsored by the Dallas Culture Improvement Agency. Associate sponsors included Drink Machine Incorporated and L2’s Kountry Kitchen.

If you’ve never tried to sample eight different briskets in one sitting, it’s a challenge. After the judging was finished, Innovative-IDM’s Michael Mueller had unseated two-time defending champ Mike Kutac of SMC. Kutac, gracious in defeat, finished third.
